Anthropic Q3: Revenue surges 45% to $17 billion ahead of potential November IPO

Anthropic Q3: Anthropic's third-quarter ‌revenue jumped 45 per cent to USD 16.8 billion from the previous quarter, an investor who attended a pre-IPO meeting with Anthropic leadership in San Francisco told Reuters. Revenue in the first quarter was USD 4.7 billion, and USD 11.6 billion in the second quarter, according to the person who attended the investor day meant to familiarise prospective Anthropic investors before its highly anticipated IPO, the Reuters report said. The company was profitable on an adjusted basis in the third quarter, ⁠Anthropic told the group, the source told Reuters.
