Anthropic took another key step toward its initial public offering, filing its Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) prospectus. In the document, the company said it plans to list under the ticker ANT. Financial results presented before the official filing showed that the company reported $16.8 billion in third-quarter revenue and positive cash flow. Revenue increased approximately 45% from $11.6 billion in the second quarter, while the company also reported profitability on an adjusted basis for the second consecutive quarter. The company behind the Claude AI models generated $4.7 billion in revenue during the first quarter, before more than doubling that figure in the April-to-June period. Its latest results show that sales continued to increase between July and September, although at a slower quarterly rate.
