On October 14, Anthropic told potential investors that its third-quarter 2026 revenue reached $16.8 billion. The company also reported an adjusted profit for that period. Moreover, the company shared these figures at an investor event held at its San Francisco headquarters, just weeks before its planned stock market debut. The Financial Times first reported the numbers, and soon after, a Reuters report citing two attendees and a Bloomberg story citing people familiar with the matter gave the same revenue figure. Anthropic has not published the results, and it declined to comment to Bloomberg. The $16.8bn covers revenue earned in the quarter itself, so it differs from the annualised run rates often quoted for AI companies.
