OpenAI reportedly lures Anthropic customers away with discounts

OpenAI is apparently targeting enterprise customers of AI rival Anthropic, offering steep discounts on its models and coding tools to lure them away. OpenAI had reportedly offered a discount of more than 30% on its models for an annual contract reportedly worth more than $100 million. Anthropic had reportedly sought to extend a previously granted discount only if Replit committed to higher spending. Other companies also appear to have switched to OpenAI to cut costs.
