Anthropic upgrades Claude with new Sonnet 5.5 model, details here

Anthropic is upgrading Claude Sonnet, replacing Sonnet 5 from June with Sonnet 5.5 as the best medium-sized model. The three main models are Haiku (smallest and cheapest), Sonnet (medium size and price), and Opus (largest and most expensive of the three). There’s also Fable/Mythos, which is even more capable and costly, which represents Anthropic’s highest tier. Today’s new Claude model follows the arrival of Opus 5.5 last week. Anthropic promised to upgrade Sonnet and Haiku “in the coming weeks” at the time.
