Dayforce puts its HR and payroll data inside Anthropic’s Claude

Dayforce is bringing its HR, payroll and scheduling data into Anthropic’s Claude. A new Dayforce connector lets customers ask questions about their workforce in plain language inside Claude and take supported actions, the HR software company said on Tuesday. Those actions include approving requests, filling open shifts, submitting time off and engaging candidates. The connector is built on the Model Context Protocol and is in beta, with general availability expected in 2027. Every response respects the permissions customers have already set in Dayforce, according to the company. Changes to workforce data need validation and explicit human confirmation before they go through. Salesforce made its own products available inside Claude in August.
