Spotify and Claude Are Both Down

If you're having trouble getting your Spotify playlists up and running this morning, you're not alone. The music streaming platform is currently down for tens of thousands of users, at least. Downdetector is showing roughly 40,000 reports since 9:31 a.m. ET, with the last batch of reports coming in at 10:24 a.m. Spotify confirmed the issue in a post on X, writing: "We're aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!" Curiously, Spotify's outage comes at the same time as an outage with Claude, the AI platform from Anthropic.
