[AINews] Meta Muse Wonder & Wonder Full: MSL’s Claude 5.5-tier Frontier Model

We have been coveringe MSL’s 14 month journey to becoming a frontier lab, but only today did the final ball drop: Meta’s Muse Wonder to match Spark and Glimmer, the way that OpenAI has Sol/Terra/Luna and Anthropic has Opus/Sonnet/Haiku. Interestingly, while Muse doesn’t claim a specific size, Muse Wonder Full does beat Fable and Astra on some benchmarks, and with various degrees of posttraining it is a little unclear if Wonder is more of a Fable/Astra class model or not. Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL) shipped Muse Wonder (codename “Watermelon” 🍉), its second-generation model family.
