Accenture Puts Monthly Limit on Claude AI Usage for Employees

As per reports, Accenture is limiting the use of Anthropic’s Claude AI tool among its employees. The IT giant reportedly introduced a monthly spending limit of $29 (around Rs 2,700) per employee. Majority of its employees will now have to access Claude with the meager $29 monthly allocation. Some employees on premium plans have higher usage limits, while others may face restrictions on how much AI they can use. Accenture informed employees about this change through an internal memo, said a report by 404 Media. The new limits came into effect on October 1. The report said several employees had been using AI services worth more than $1,000 (around Rs 94,800) a month.
